When a beloved tree dies or has to be cut down, it can feel like losing a member of the family. That was the case when a University Hills family reached out to us last year.
The local energy company forced them to cut down a beautiful silver maple tree after it threatened their neighbors' power lines.
Turning a tree into lumber is a complicated and time consuming process but we handled every step of the process from pick up to milling into workable pieces of maple. Chevron patterns were featured elsewhere in their home so it was logical to incorporate this design element in the top so the table would seamlessly fit the homes' aesthetic.
